Recruitment Drop In

We are looking for Support Workers at Burton Street. We are a community site based in Hillsborough, and we work with adults and children with learning difficulties and disabilities. We provide learning, stimulation and support through a range of creative activities, during the day for many people. Your principal role would be to work in sessions and out in the community with adults who have learning difficulties and disabilities; providing creative, meaningful and social activities leading to opportunities to build confidence, encourage self-expression and promote communication.

Burton Street has clients from a wide variety of backgrounds and we are committed to building a staff team that represents our community.

Whether you work in the care sector, or are possibly looking for a career change, we would be delighted if you came along to our drop in event on Wednesday 15th June from 4-6pm at our site; 110 Burton Street, Sheffield S6 2HH.

Come and speak to existing staff about their roles on site, find out more about what we do, and how rewarding a job in the care sector could be for you! We have a fully accessible site, and refreshments will be provided. Just bring yourself and a pen and you might be filling out an application form sooner than you think!
