As a sign of continued growth, Burton Street has welcomed no less than SEVEN new staff members to the Learning Disability team!

These brilliant individuals come from a mix of backgrounds and bring a range of experience, along with a shared commitment to doing their best for the people we support.

After weeks of intensive training, they’re now up and running as Support Workers and keen to get stuck in. They’ve already started getting involved in sessions and one-to-one work, bringing great energy with them.

‘What I love about Burton Street is how welcoming and supportive it is — everyone truly has each other’s backs. I’ve worked in care before because I love helping people, but I’ve never experienced a place like this. I already knew about the Foundation’s excellent reputation and really admire what it does as a creative hub. I also love the building itself, with its beautiful historic architecture.’
