A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to our Bake Sale in aid of Breast Cancer Now!

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who bought cakes, donated and supported the event, we raised an incredible amount for the charity.

Special thanks go to colleagues Helen and Michelle for organising the sale and helping make it such a success.

Michelle said:

‘I’m overwhelmed by how much we raised. Having been through cancer treatment myself, it’s a cause that’s very close to my heart. Knowing the money can help fund vital research and support people affected by cancer means so much to me.

‘I’d also encourage everyone to check their breasts or chest regularly. Get to know what’s normal for you and look out for anything new or unusual — whether that’s a lump or swelling, puckering or dimpling of the skin, or a change in size or shape. Breast cancer can affect both women and men, so if something doesn’t feel or look right, get it checked. It’s always better to be safe.‘
