About the Role
As a Service Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our Adult Services team. You’ll manage staff rotas, address day-to-day issues, and uphold the highest standards of care and support. This role offers the chance to develop innovative services, enhance client outcomes, and contribute to the ongoing success of the Burton Street Foundation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring sessions are well-staffed and organised.
- Manage staff training, performance, and development.
- Liaise with families, carers, and senior management to ensure effective communication.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with safeguarding, health, and safety standards.
- Collaborate on budget planning and service improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- ILM Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within health and social care.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and risk assessment processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to promoting independence and inclusion.
This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave, with the role expected to last 12 months, subject to change.
