DETAILS
Trip Advisors is a day long session held on Mondays and is located in our Bamforth building. It’s a medium sized group (approximately six-eight clients with two staff members). The focus of this session has morphed over the years (originally starting as a Burton Street newspaper – hence the name) but more recently has become project-based. We look at topics that interest us and investigate! Sometimes these are ‘one-off’ ideas that last for only one week whilst other topics engage us much longer. We like to learn through conversation, internet research, looking at books, doing art and craft, going on trips or inviting visitors to come and share their knowledge with us! We try to be as client led as possible, everyone is encouraged to share ideas and make suggestions about how we spend our time. We aim to be a supportive and social group and wellbeing and relationships are important to us, sometimes incorporating meditation into our sessions.
